About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP, PALS Must-Have: 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred Description: Responsible for patient assessments, care plans, and implementation and evaluation of therapy plans as needed. Performs diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac assessments, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry. Transports patients within the facility or between facilities. This position may require working standard hours and flexible hours as well as providing on-call coverage outside of scheduled hours. Cancellation policy allows for a limited number of shifts to be canceled during the assignment. Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
