About the Position

Job Title: Social Worker Profession: Social Worker Specialty: Social Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active CO licensure Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Minimum 6 months experience as a Social Worker, preferably in an acute care setting. Description: Travel Social Worker position available. Some weekend work is required. The unit consists of a team of case managers and social workers to manage patient load. The typical patient ratio is 1 social worker to 40 patients. Conduct suicide risk assessments as part of your duties. Perform SBIRT and substance assessments. Engage in discharge planning assessments. This position requires strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is professional, dedicated, and friendly. Candidates should be adaptable to different units. Behavioral health experience with suicide risk and substance use assessments is preferred. Knowledge in palliative care and goals of care conversations is advantageous.
