About the Position

Job Title: EEG Technologist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Medical Group Operations Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, EEG certification (unless grandfathered in from experience) Must-Have: - Neonatal experience - Electrode placement - Prepping patient - Recording/measuring - Pattern recognition - Wrapping head for continuous EEG Description: Perform EEG tests across a variety of patient types from neonates to geriatric patients. Common conditions include seizures, strokes, gunshot victims, autism, ADHD, pseudo-seizures, and trauma. Demonstrate the ability to work with patient ratios of 1:1. Collaborate with other EEG technologists and members of the healthcare team during procedures. Utilize Epic charting system; experience with Nihon Kohden software is required. There may be a need to float to the ICU to perform tests. Weekend rotation is required, and holiday expectations apply if they fall on scheduled workdays. Scrub color will be Caribbean Blue.
