About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state license required in hand when applying Certifications: ARRT N*, BLS, NMTCB Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute required for all ER nurses - Two supervisor references required when applying Description: Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position requires immediate starts. Traveler must have travel experience. All required certifications must be in hand when applying. Required skills include conducting various scans such as HIDA, MUGA, and Sestamibi parathyroid scans. Experience in handling and disposal of radioactive materials is necessary. Applicants should have experience with starting and maintaining IVs. Candidates must be comfortable with pharmacological stress testing and portable bedside procedures. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important for this role. References should be submitted as part of the application process. No time off will be granted within the first two weeks of the assignment. Maximum of 7 days of time off per 13-week contract is highly preferred.
