About the Position
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid State License required (pending license accepted) Certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT MR Must-Have: Previous experience in ultrasound imaging and related procedures. Ability to work with diverse patient demographics including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Description: The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of ultrasound exams. The primary focus includes brain, spine, abdominal, and extremity imaging. The role does not involve enterography, prostate, cardiac, or breast scans. The technologist will work extensively with anesthesia and ICU patients. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Team collaboration and interdisciplinary support will be essential in providing patient care. Work hours will typically fall between early afternoon and late evening. Weekend coverage may be required based on staffing needs. Travelers are expected to be flexible with scheduling to accommodate hospital needs. A strong commitment to patient safety and quality care is essential. All procedures must align with established protocols and standards of practice. The work environment is fast-paced and requires effective communication skills. Candidates should possess strong technical abilities and attention to detail.
