SHIFTS / AVAILABILITY

3 x 12-hour shifts rotating

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage mechanical ventilators for critically ill adult and paediatric patients
  • Perform arterial blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
  • Administer aerosolised medications and bronchial hygiene therapy
  • Assist with intubations, bronchoscopies, and difficult airway management
  • Document respiratory assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • CRT or RRT credential (NBRC) current
  • Active Texas respiratory care licence
  • BLS and ACLS certifications current
  • Minimum 1 year acute-care or paediatric respiratory therapy experience

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist) credential
  • NICU or PICU ventilator experience
