KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment findings
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team including physicians, OT, PT, and nursing staff
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers
  • Participate in discharge planning and care coordination

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • Active California SLP licence (or compact licence eligibility) current and in good standing
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • CPR/BLS certification current

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in post-acute rehabilitation, SNF, or outpatient rehab setting
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records in a rehabilitation environment
