About the Position

The unit consists of 285 acute care beds and 16 inpatient rehab beds. Patient ratios include 12:1 for acute care and 4-5:1 for rehab. The staff includes rehab techs for support. Key equipment used includes safe patient handling equipment and standard rehab equipment. Documentation will be completed using an electronic system. The schedule involves working five 8-hour days from Monday to Friday, with one weekend every six weeks. Flexibility for off days when working a weekend is necessary. On call requirements are not applicable for this position. The role may involve floating between acute and rehab settings as needed. Professional demeanor and adherence to dress code, specifically wearing eggplant colored scrubs, are expected. Candidates should be aware of the department's recognition programs, including Employee of the Month and overall team awards.
