About the Position

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Current license in the State Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CRT; RRT-ACCS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Graduate from an accredited college program in respiratory care. - Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills. - Ability to be flexible and adaptable. - Skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, clinical interventions, and procedures as needed for patient care. Description: Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physicians' orders. Determine effectiveness of therapy. Provide ventilator support during cardiopulmonary resuscitation and maintain life support equipment in intensive care units and other designated areas. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with service standards. Assist in critical care settings and emergency department care. Preferred experience includes adult intensive care and emergency department care. Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality care. Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current in the field. Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and team collaboration. Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality service. Practice with a focus on compassionate care and support for all patients.
