Key Responsibilities of the Surgical Technician

• Assist in neuro, ENT, and spine surgeries including laminectomies, ALIFs, and cranial surgeries
• Support orthopedic procedures like fractures, anterior hips, and total joints
• Provide assistance in general surgeries such as breasts/plastics, vascular, and laparoscopic procedures
• Operate and trouble-shoot surgical equipment including Medtronic and Stryker systems
• Ensure sterile techniques and maintain surgical instruments during procedures

Requirements of the Surgical Technician

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience
