Speech Language Pathologist
Location: San Diego, CA

Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours

About the Position

Duration: 6 months to long-term

Schedule: Monday through Friday, between the hours of 07:00 am – 17:00 pm | 8 - 10 hrs/Day | Every Other Weekend

Job Responsibilities: 

• Develop coherent treatment strategies.
• Incorporate new clinical procedures sufficient to perform clinical services independently.
• Conduct patient assessments; provide treatment interventions and consultation to other health care professionals.
• Use instrumentation (e.g., video fluoroscopy, Nas endoscopy, stroboscope, computer technology) to observe, collect data, and measure parameters of communication and swallowing, or other upper aero-digestive functions in accordance with the principles of evidence-based practice.
• Provide prevention, screening, consultation, assessment and diagnostic, treatment, intervention, management, counseling, and follow-up services for disorders of speech and language, including comprehension and expression in oral, written, graphic, and manual modalities.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Speech Language Pathologist license (CA State)
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA.
• Candidate must be flexible with shift.
