About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of recent experience required License: MD license required Certifications: ARRT CT required, BLS required Must-Have: - Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment - 2 years of experience required - Local candidates accepted within a specified radius at a lower rate Description: Looking for a CT Tech to join our team. Candidates must have a valid MD license in hand at the time of submission. ARRT CT certification is required. BLS certification is required. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in CT imaging. Must have successfully completed at least one travel assignment prior. Skills required include expertise in a variety of CT procedures, including but not limited to: brain perfusion, chest imaging, vascular studies, and abdominal studies. Experience with 3D rendering techniques is advantageous. Candidates should be familiar with preparation and administration of contrast media and radiation safety protocols. Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE usage is essential. Candidates should be able to start on any Monday for the duration of the contract. No call or float is required in this position. Interdisciplinary support includes various services to enhance patient care. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit has a daily census of approximately 100 patients. Candidates must provide two supervisory references one of which should be from the most recent assignment. No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of assignment. RTO must be included at the time of submission. Maximum amount of RTO is 7 days for the 13-week contract. Please ensure to meet all compliance requirements upon hire.
