About the Position
Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Electrophysiology clinical experience required. License: Licensure required. Certifications: ACLS BLS CCI RCES/RCIS Must-Have: 1 prior travel assignment is required. Description: This position is for an Electrophysiology Tech. The shifts are day shifts, covering 36 hours per week. The schedule includes two days of late case coverage per week. The facility is a teaching hospital recognized among the top heart and vascular centers in the country. Candidates must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac ablations. Experience with inpatient and outpatient settings is required. Proficiency in Cerner electronic health records is expected. Required equipment experience includes Philips and Siemens X-ray machines and GE Micropacer. Preferred equipment knowledge includes 3D mapping and ultrasound systems. Specialized procedures include cardiac electrophysiology studies and device implants. Candidates should have skills in accessing and managing ports, cardiac mapping, and performing EKG lead placements. The daily caseload includes an average of 18 patients. Adherence to established infection control practices is essential. All employees are required to receive the flu vaccine, with no exemptions allowed.
