About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Florence, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, as needed to meet facility demands
• Deliver critical care respiratory support in accordance with scope of practice and facility protocols
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Respond to emergency response team assignments as directed, including during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience, with recent critical care experience required
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) certifications all must be in hand at time of start
• Ability to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a large, multi-department hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting platform
