Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
  • Float to an additional facility location as needed to support patient care demands

Required Qualifications

  • Active and valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Michigan
  • LARA fingerprinting must be completed prior to or at start of assignment
  • Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
  • Ability to adapt to multiple facility environments and patient populations
