About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience License: Current active Kansas licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1 year of current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience. BLS certification is required. Current active Kansas licensure is necessary. Description: Open heart and cardiovascular experience is preferred. Prior experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech, is desirable. Typical procedures performed include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR. Candidates should possess a confident demeanor, be team players, and maintain a positive attitude. Patient experience is a priority in this role. Effective communication with staff and providers is essential. On-call duty is required one weeknight per week and one weekend per month. An ECMO program is restarting, which may present further learning opportunities.
