Job Title

Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 14-Week Assignment | 32 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Start Time 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy assistant services within an inpatient rehabilitation facility serving adult and geriatric populations
• Treat patients recovering from CVA, amputation, complex orthopedic injuries, and other neurological conditions?
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including standard rehab devices, Ekso NR, and REAL VR systems
• Maintain a patient caseload ratio of 6 patients per therapist in a 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Document patient care and progress using UDS ProDoc electronic health record system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a PTA
• Experience working with adult patient populations
• No float requirements; dedicated to assigned inpatient rehabilitation unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation settings
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation, including CVA and neuro patient populations
