Key Responsibilities of the Speech Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

• Support acute care patients from physician orders throughout the hospital
• Manage a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological issues, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive disorders

Requirements of the Speech Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

• Minimum of 15-18 months of recent experience within specialty
• Valid GA License for SLP & CCC-SLP
• AHA BLS certification
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus but not required
