About the Position

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Technologist or Technician Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00-15:30) Experience: 3 years of clinical Mammography experience required License: Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy Certifications: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, registered with the ARRT, in addition to certification in Mammography with the ARRT. Must-Have: BLS certification Description: Mammography Technologist needed for a 13-week assignment. Performs breast imaging as well as ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures. Assists in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists. Instructs them in complex or difficult procedures. Associates degree is preferred. Maintains a second Mammography registry by annually accruing five Continuing Education credits specific to Mammography Education, as required by federally-mandated MQSA standards.
