About the Position
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography required Certifications: 1. BLS 2. NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) 3. NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) Must-Have: Agency must provide radiation badge. Description: Must have experience in performing PET/CT scans. Will work day shifts, with varying start times from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and ending times from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. No holidays required. On-call requirements are not necessary. Weekend work may be required for PET/CT scans if needed. Floating between service lines is not required. First-time travelers are accepted. Experience with Level 1 and II trauma is preferred. Experience with Siemens equipment or scanners is required. Clienttion badge must be supplied by the agency. Approval for accommodations on block scheduling prior to assignment is given, but is not guaranteed. Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. The facility type is a teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds. The dress code consists of a teal top and black pants. All travelers should be aware of emergency response team assignments during hurricane season, from June through November. Travelers should ensure no new assignments are confirmed during this period.
