KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate and treat acute-care patients across orthopaedic, neurological, and medical diagnoses
  • Develop individualised PT treatment plans; implement therapeutic interventions
  • Perform mobility assessments and functional capacity evaluations pre-discharge
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in the EMR
  • Collaborate with nursing, OT, and case management for safe discharge planning

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • Active Texas PT licence current
  • DPT or MPT degree
  • BLS certification current
  • Minimum 1 year acute-care PT experience

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Orthopaedic or neurological rehab experience
