About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty. Experience with heart and lung transplants is required. Level 2 experience is required; Level 1 experience is preferred. Experience with trauma cases is required. License: Compact or Kentucky State License is required at time of submission. Certifications: BLS certification is required. Must-Have: Skills checklist must be submitted. Candidates will float within the facility or to an affiliate facility nearby. Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted. Description: This position requires 2 years of experience in the specialty. Experience with heart and lung transplants is mandatory. Candidates should ideally have Level 2 experience, with Level 1 experience as a preference. Experience handling trauma cases is also required. BLS certification is a prerequisite for this role. A skills checklist documentation must be provided with the application. Candidates with limited experience in heart and lung transplants should be screened carefully. Previous charge experience is beneficial but not required. The daily patient census is between 75 and 100. The position involves working with neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Proper sterilization, disinfection, and specimen handling are essential duties. Candidates should be knowledgeable in advanced surgical techniques and equipment. Compliance with safety and regional regulations is mandatory. Candidates are expected to adhere to the universal protocol in all procedures.
