About the Position

Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:00 - 14:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: PA state license in hand required Certifications: EPIC Beacon experience required, Pyxis experience required Must-Have: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. Candidates who pass the clinical review will proceed to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screenings will be conducted on a case-by-case basis. Description: Schedule requirements are for 40 hours per week. Shift will be between 6 AM and 7 PM. Every 3rd or 4th Saturday shift is from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates may care for COVID patients. Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Maximum request time off is 7 days. Candidates must possess experience with antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, clinical dosing, compounding, and high-alert medications. Experience in inpatient/acute care and pediatric dosing is essential. Knowledge of pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, and sterile technique is required. Candidates should be familiar with warfarin dosing. Patient demographics include neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 120 patients with 163 beds available. Candidates must have their PA license in hand to work. No local candidates will be accepted if they do not meet the defined distance requirement. Charting experience in EPIC is heavily preferred. All certifications must be AHA or ARC. Traveler pairs are allowed, but matched schedules cannot be guaranteed. Additional requirements may apply as per role specifications.
