About the Position
CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years preferred License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT (CT) Must-Have: Siemens experience required Epic experience required Description: The CT Tech will work night shifts, typically from 9 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Thursday. Shift start and end times may vary by up to 2 hours, based on unit needs. The position does not require on-call duties. All requests for time off must be included with the submission. The facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks. Availability to work one holiday during the 13-week contract is required, in rotation with staff. The required clinical skills include the preparation and administration of contrast media and radiation safety. The traveler may be required to float to a nearby facility. The facility is an acute care teaching hospital, featuring over 700 licensed beds and recognized for its trauma care and stroke certification. Candidates must possess the ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing environments. All compliance documents must be submitted in a timely manner according to facility requirements. Local candidates are not accepted, and candidates must reside a minimum distance from the facility. Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning to work as a traveler. The facility has specific guidelines and policies regarding traveler assignments.
