Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Deliver therapeutic respiratory care to critically ill and emergency department patients
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to optimize patient care plans
• Utilize critical thinking skills to address complex medical situations
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide patient education and support

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain within 180 days)
• Bachelor's or Associate in Respiratory Therapy preferred
• 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills
