CT Technologist (Dual-Modality: CT & X-Ray)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Evenings | 4x9-Hour Shifts | Wednesday through Saturday, 2:30 PM to Midnight (30-minute lunch) | Note: First two weeks of assignment require a training schedule of Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-rays in a specialty orthopedic hospital setting, including both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Conduct orthopedic imaging exams in exam room settings and via portable equipment across a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Execute a broad range of X-ray procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Perform advanced CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Manage a daily caseload of up to 20 patients across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings
• Rotate across multiple departments within the facility as needed, including a private sector location adjacent to the main hospital

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) — must be held at time of submission
• Active New York State (NYS) license in hand or confirmed ETA on issue date — must be held at time of submission
• IV Certification — must be held at time of submission
• BLS and DOH NYS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Experience operating Siemens imaging equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and/or adult ICU work settings
• Experience with portable imaging equipment
