About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 4x10 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: 2+ years of experience preferred License: SC license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process) Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor Description: Position involves working in the Cath Lab. Daily caseload is around 20 cases, with each tech managing 4 to 5 labs. On-call requirements include one weekend per month and evening shifts weekly. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Holidays may be required as needed. Travelers will not float between service lines or to sister facilities. Proficiency in coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures is essential. Experience with radiation monitoring is required. A radiation badge must be provided by the agency. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, emergency response team assignments may occur. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. All required documentation must be completed on time for compliance. Candidates are prioritized based on their licensing status. Travelers must have a valid license in hand or prove that they have applied for one. All requests for time off must be included at the time of application. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates with previous continuous employment must have been separated for one year before returning. All candidates must complete compliance processes promptly and efficiently.
