Job Title – MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology
Location – 2260 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30904, United States
Duration – 16 Weeks (06/08/2026 onward)
Shift – Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (09:30 AM – 06:00 PM)

Block Scheduling – No
Weekend Coverage – Not specified
Float – Possible (to main campus as needed)
Call Requirement – Yes (1 call week every 5th week, in rotation with main campus)

Job Description
MRI Technologist responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings. The technologist will operate a single MRI room and support a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

This role requires strong technical proficiency in MRI imaging procedures, patient safety, and contrast administration. The position also includes participation in a rotating call schedule and potential cross-coverage to the main campus.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills / Experience
Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and ER imaging settings required
Experience with MRI safety protocols and isolation precautions required
Experience with PACS and image post-processing required
Experience with GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba MRI systems required
Experience with contrast studies and administration required
Experience with brain, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head/neck imaging required
Strong patient care and communication skills required
Experience working in fast-paced radiology environments required
Epic EMR experience preferred

Certifications
ARRT (R) certification required
BLS certification required
