Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a contract assignment in an acute care / rehabilitation setting. The therapist will provide respiratory care services, including assessment, treatment, and management of patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator support
Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpret results (as permitted)
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Document patient care accurately in medical records
Respond to respiratory emergencies and critical care situations
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans

Assignment Details

Start Date: 07/20/2026
End Date: 10/17/2026

Shift: Night Shift (12-hour rotation)
Shift Time: 06:30 PM 07:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week

Requirements

Active RRT credential required
Active Respiratory Therapy license (state dependent)
Experience in acute care or hospital respiratory settings preferred
Strong critical care and emergency response skills
Ability to work night shifts and rotating schedules
Must comply with onboarding requirements
Must carry valid state/federal ID and facility badge at all times
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required per facility policy
Strong teamwork and communication skills
