Physical Therapy Assistant
Location: Bartlett, TN

Pay: $1,284 to $1,484 per week
Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Outpatient experience required.
• Neurological rehabilitation experience required.
• Experience treating stroke, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis required.
• Experience with Optimus PT EMR required.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday.
• First patient at 9:00 AM, last patient at 4:00 PM, day ending at 5:00 PM.
• Setting includes outpatient neuro.
• Caseload: 12-18 patients per day, with PTA treating approximately 8-12 patients per day.
• Patient population is primarily neurological.

Bartlett is a suburban community northeast of Memphis with direct access to city amenities and regional attractions. Shelby Farms Park is about 15 minutes away and offers more than 40 miles of trails, lakes, and outdoor recreation. Downtown Memphis is roughly 30 minutes from Bartlett and includes Beale Street, the National Civil Rights Museum, and live entertainment venues. For weekend travel, Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park is about 35 minutes away and provides hiking, paddling, and Mississippi River views in a quieter natural setting.
