About the Position
Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT (Physical Therapist) Specialty: PT - Type: PT (Physical Therapy) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Mon-Fri Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - Flexibility to treat a variety of patients. - Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred. Description: Department: Physical Therapy. Common diagnoses include a variety of patient needs from infants to geriatrics. Types of patients include those with pelvic floor issues, hand injuries, post-stroke recovery, total joint replacements, and pediatric cases such as autism. The therapist will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Typically assigned to a specific area but may float to cover other areas as needed. Daily patient load ranges from 3 to 11 patients, with 5 therapists present each day. The team includes physical therapists, rehabilitation aides, and a manager. Some scheduling flexibility is available, but the manager will determine the schedule. No weekend or holiday requirements are expected. Professional attire or scrubs are required. A high level of teamwork and communication is essential. Therapists should be open to seeing any patient that presents. Additional support is offered from the existing staff of 10 therapists. Resources are available for travelers, who are encouraged to participate in staff activities. The area offers various outdoor activities and attractions.
