About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 12 Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years, including Critical Care experience License: Must have MD license Certifications: RRT and CPR via AHA; ACLS preferred Must-Have: NICU experience Description: This position requires providing direct patient respiratory care treatments. Assisting in evaluating patients with respiratory illness is essential. Responsibilities include: - Delivering respiratory therapy in various critical care units. - Providing general respiratory care. - Working in adult and pediatric emergency rooms. - Managing ventilators. - Performing arterial blood gases. - Administering CPAP/BIPAP and oxygen therapy. - Conducting chest physiotherapy (CPT). - Delivering aerosolized medications. - Participating in CPR/code team activities. - Completing computerized documentation. Candidates must have completed an accredited respiratory therapy program.
