About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Must-Have: Open heart and enovascular experience Description: Position requires a Surgical Technologist in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The role involves assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures. Candidates must have experience with hearts, vascular cases, thoracic, general, neuro, spine, robotics, and ortho cases. Self-scheduling and block scheduling are available. Call requirements include one weekday and one weekend per month. There may be floating to the general operating room if required. The facility has a response time of 30 minutes for call. Scrubs are provided for the position. Unit and department-specific orientation will be provided. Candidates must be able to meet the cancellation policy of up to 4 shifts for the length of the assignment. The charting system used is EPIC. This role is within an acute care setting.
