About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Structural Heart IABP Impella IFR FFR Description: Travel opportunity for a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The facility has 7 holding beds and a patient ratio that accommodates patient care efficiently. The department uses GE Innova and Impella equipment. Documentation is done using MacLab and Meditech. Tech must be prepared for STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days a month. Self-scheduling is available within the department. Floating policy is within the departments of EP and Stress lab. Advanced skills in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP are required. Procedures performed on the unit include TAVR, PFOA, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP implants, DCCV, and TEE. Surgical scrubs will be provided. The facility has a decorum that emphasizes professionalism and patient care. Consideration will be given to the experience level of staff and new technology available.
