Travel - Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | Start Time 8:00 AM | Onsite | Projected Start: June 2026 | At least 2 weekend days per month required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and treatments for patients on an inpatient rehabilitation unit (15-bed unit)
• Conduct Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies as part of speech-language pathology services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EMR
• Manage a caseload of approximately 5 patients per day
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team including PT, OT, and rehab tech staff
• Float to acute care areas of the hospital as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
• Prior hospital-based clinical experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work at least 2 weekend days per month
• Proficiency or ability to learn Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Experience with CARE tool scoring
• Team-oriented, energetic personality well-suited for a collaborative rehab environment
