About the Position

Job Title: Multi-Modality Specialist Profession: Multi-Modality Specialist Specialty: Multi-Modality Specialist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift M-Th Hours per Shift: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM Experience: Minimum three years of technical experience preferred License: Radiologic Tech in the state of practice required Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required Must-Have: CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor required Description: Located in beautiful Northern California, this role includes responsible operation of x-ray and computed tomography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least two modalities on a regular basis. This position is represented by a union. Education and work experience include an Associate's degree in radiologic technology as required, with a preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree. Licenses and certifications will include a required CPR or BLS certification and an required ARRT-Radiography certification. Certification in two additional advanced modalities preferred. Essential functions include performing various radiographic and computed tomography procedures consistent with experience. Transports and transfers patients safely between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart. Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Prepares contrast agents safely for medical imaging procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commitment to the safety and well-being of associates and patients is essential.
