About the Position

Job Title

NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Location

Austin, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a NICU setting during overnight shifts
• Administer nebulizer treatments and manage oxygen delivery systems
• Manage and monitor ventilators for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient care plans
• Adhere to unit guidelines, dress code requirements (olive green tops and black bottoms), and facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current PALS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a NICU, ICU, or PICU environment
• Familiarity with neonatal and pediatric ventilator management protocols
