About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Med Tech Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technology Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-15:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NMTCB OR ARRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Advanced skills in nuclear medicine procedures Description: General comments about the department include a total of 350 beds. Patient ratios are not applicable. Unit staffing descriptions such as unit secretaries and tech availability are not applicable. Type of equipment includes GE systems. The documentation system utilized is MEDITECH. Scheduling requirements are Monday to Friday. There is a floating policy that includes PET and NM. Patient experience requirements are mandated by the facility. The hiring profile specifically requests skills for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. All nuclear medicine exams are performed on this unit. Required uniform consists of scrub attire in blue. Unit guidelines and policies should be attached for reference.
