Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00-23:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: CT and x-ray license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - CT and x-ray license - BLS Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 11 Number of Staff: 1 tech covering CT and x-ray Type of Staff: 1 tech for Day Shift, 1 tech for Night Shift Patient Ratios: Not specified Type of Equipment: GE Documentation System: Meditech Call Requirements: None Typical Hiring Profile: Candidate must have a CT and x-ray license and BLS certification. Candidate should be able to work independently. Candidate must be capable of performing both X-ray and CT. Candidate should be adaptable and able to cover shifts as needed. Typical Procedures Performed: CT exams including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, pulmonary embolism, and stroke. X-ray exams including chest, abdomen, extremities, spine, and head.
