Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while supporting patients in achieving optimal communication and functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop treatment plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Provide individualized therapy services based on patient goals and clinical needs
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation and nursing teams
Educate patients and families regarding treatment strategies and progress
Ensure compliance with facility policies and therapy standards
Support safe and effective patient rehabilitation outcomes

Requirements

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong communication and patient assessment skills required
Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Must comply with facility onboarding and compliance requirements
Must bring state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
