Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and help patients improve their ability to perform daily living and functional activities.

This role is ideal for therapists who are passionate about patient recovery, functional independence, and delivering high-quality rehabilitative care.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
Assist patients in regaining independence and functional abilities
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and recovery goals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols

Requirements

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and within interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge of therapeutic rehabilitation techniques and patient mobility training
Must comply with all facility onboarding and compliance requirements
Must bring state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
