Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy helping patients improve communication abilities, cognitive function, and overall quality of life through individualized therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Provide direct speech-language therapy services
Conduct ongoing assessments and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and goals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations

Requirements

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred where applicable
Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience preferred
Strong communication, assessment, and treatment planning skills
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Must comply with all onboarding and facility requirements
Must carry valid identification and wear a photo badge at all times
