Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
• Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality images
• Administer contrast agents when required and monitor patients for reactions
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Complete detailed patient documentation and imaging records

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Active ARRT certification required
• Active state license in Kansas if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1-2 years of CT experience preferred
• Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
