Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
• Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists for patients in an acute rehabilitation unit
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and functional goals
• Adhere to facility dress code and operational protocols, including wearing designated blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, specifically within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) or LTACH setting
• Must hold licensure in state at time of submission — pending state licenses will not be considered
• Ability to work a day shift schedule in an onsite LTACH environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
• Familiarity with LTACH patient populations and care protocols
• Experience working within a compact licensure eligible state
