Schedule:
• 2 Shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 2 Shifts: 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment at a leading surgical unit in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have recent Neuro and Thoracic surgical experience and be comfortable working in a high-volume operating room environment supporting multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for operative procedures
• Assist surgeons during Neuro, Thoracic, Orthopedic, General, and Urology procedures
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile equipment during operations
• Ensure compliance with sterile technique, infection prevention, and patient safety standards
• Assist with surgical counts, room setup, and turnover procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to support efficient surgical workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation and support daily operating room activities

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience required
• Recent Neuro and Thoracic experience REQUIRED
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong experience in fast-paced surgical environments preferred
