About the Position

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Rehab Services Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8 or 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 5-8s or 4-10s or a mixture of both Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - Generalist with evaluation and treatment skills to cover a broad range of patients Description: Department: Occupational Therapy Number of patients treated per day: Highly variable based on census and scheduled hours per day. General certification requirements include BLS and state licensure. Common diagnoses/types of patients include general medical, CVA, hip fractures, post-operative THR/TKR, adhesive capsulitis, tendon injuries, upper extremity fractures, carpal/cubital tunnel issues, developmental delay, and sensory issues. Acute inpatient, swing-bed, assisted living, and outpatient settings are included in the role. Occupational Therapist will be responsible for covering all required areas. No weekend or holiday requirements currently. Scrub color/dress code: Black scrubs or a black collared shirt with khaki pants. Department-specific orientation will be provided. The job involves cancellation policy of up to 2 per 13-week assignment. Charting system in use is Cerner.
