About the Position

Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluation, management, education, and rehabilitation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. The practice includes the application of technology and the use of treatment protocols across all care sites. Responsibilities involve application and monitoring of medical gases and environmental control systems. The role includes mechanical ventilatory support and artificial airway care. The Respiratory Therapist will perform bronchopulmonary hygiene and administer pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures. In addition, the position involves cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and hemodynamic cardiovascular support.
