Physical Therapy Assistant
Location: Stamford, CT

Pay: $956 to $1,156 per week

About the Position

Make a real difference as a travel PTA with Jackson Therapy Partners. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Connecticut PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings required.
• Prior experience with geriatric populations preferred.
• Familiarity with restorative nursing programs, transfers, gait training, and use of common assistive devices preferred.
• Ability to document in electronic medical records. Experience with facility EMR systems preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
