Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Connecticut PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings required.
- Prior experience with geriatric populations preferred.
- Familiarity with restorative nursing programs, transfers, gait training, and use of common assistive devices preferred.
- Ability to document in electronic medical records. Experience with facility EMR systems preferred.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
