About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 16:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year; first timers not accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT R Must-Have: Experience with Epic charting system Description: The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. The technologist will be responsible for working in a fast-paced environment. The average daily census is 25 patients across 4 procedure rooms. The technologist will be required to provide care for a diverse patient population. The skill set includes accessing and managing ports, performing angiography, and handling central venous access. Experience with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and various interventional radiology procedures is required. The role includes maintaining equipment and inventory, and working with interdisciplinary support teams. Call responsibilities will be assigned, with expectations to work on major holidays. The technologist will float within the facility as needed and must adhere to all compliance requirements. The candidate will undergo a clinical screening to determine fit for the role.
