About the Position

Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year EP Lab clinical experience required. License: Must hold a valid state license. Certifications: Required: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or RCIS. Preferred: ARRT, Fluoroscopy permit. Must-Have: Experience with Cerner and Electrophysiology Lab procedures. Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and ablations. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Description: The Electrophysiology Tech will assist in cardiac electrophysiology studies and procedures. Responsibilities include conducting head-up tilt tests, cardioversions, and device implants and explants. The tech is expected to monitor patients' hemodynamic status and interpret dysrhythmias. Daily caseload averages around 18 patients. The role requires familiarity with Philips and Siemens X-Ray machines. Skills in using 3D mapping systems are preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with groin closure devices and laser lead extraction. Experience in a trauma or children's hospital setting is preferred. Scrubs will be provided. This position does not require on-call or weekend duties. All staff members are required to receive the flu vaccine.
